Doris Chia-ching Lin is a filmmaker, multimedia artist, and stage designer from Taiwan. Her work explores multimedia arts. She is pursuing her MFA in filmmaking at Temple University and recently she just made a large scale video installation “Troupe de Fetishe” which has shown in The Crane Art building in 2010. She also made several shorts, including “Silou Vege and Fruit Market,” a documentary about a full day at a market in Taiwan; and “Transdialection,” an experimental sound and video piece. Doris has won several awards in set design for theatrical productions. Most notably, her stage design project won the first award in Prague Quadrennial Taiwan Exhibition Competition, after which she was chosen to represent Taiwan at PQ2007 Scenofest in Prague.
